Foundational Investigative Agent Training
Objective: This is a beginning class designed to teach Investigative Agents (IAs) to conduct administrative Major Unusual Incident (MUI) investigations. It was originally called Civil and Criminal Investigation Training and even though it is renamed it still counts for the training under Ohio Revised Code 5126.11.

It will examine the general requirements for conducting MUI investigations as well as the incident specific requirements for different categories/types. The elements of Trauma Informed Care are covered.  It also considers the role of the IA in incidents that are being investigated as a criminal matter.  This foundational training is designed for the new IA and may also be useful to anyone who deals with MUI investigations.

Space is limited. CEUs offered. Trainees must attend both days to receive CEUs. Since there may be a waiting list, please contact us at (614) 752-0091, if you are not able to attend.  Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the day of the training.
